Fifteen years in, and we're back where it all started to feel right: out on the fjord. Ride The Bøljan Blå has been our longest standing tradition and the one we've always called our season opener. After all this time it still holds the same simple promise. A boat, a soundsystem, and the people who keep showing up year after year.
This one is part of our 15 year celebration, and we couldn't think of a better way to kick it off than with someone who has been part of the story for as long as we've been doing this.

Dandy Jack has been a recurring guest and friend of the family through the years, and every time he steps on board something amazing happens that’s impossible to plan for. He's a pioneer of electronic music in the truest sense, active since the late 80s, with a catalogue that runs through Perlon, Fax, Rather Interesting and his own Ruta 5, and a body of collaborations with everyone from Ricardo Villalobos, Tobias. to Atom Heart to Sonja Moonear. Live, he works from improvisation: rhythmically dense, raw, organic, and always a little unpredictable. Bringing him back for the 15 year edition felt obvious, he's part of how we got here.
