Vinny Villbass is one of the most pivotal figures in Oslo's DJ community. There is no current narrative in Oslo's electronic music scene where his name could be negated. He is one third of the crew behind the legendary Oslo club night Sunkissed and initiator of the Norwegian web-portal OsloClubCast. He was one of two curators behind the Pantha Du Prince & The Bell Laboratory project. Known for his exceptional groove and timing with over 25 years behind the decks, he has played across Scandinavia, Berlin (with residencies at ArenaKlub, Kleine Reise and Picknick) and New York. His Berlin years include the "I Am Single" label collaboration with the legendary Khan. As guitar and synth player in diskJokkeBand and a trained engineer in acoustics, his productions challenge the boundaries of traditional club music. He runs the Badabing Diskos label and has released on Eskimo Recordings, Trunkfunk and Afro Art. He shares a studio with Diskjokke in Oslo's Grünerløkka neighbourhood.
