Sebastian Mullaert is a Swedish recording artist and live performer who has been working in alternative electronic music since the mid-nineties. Trained as a classical musician playing organ, piano and violin (he even worked as a violin teacher in his teens), he discovered house and techno in the mid-nineties and set out on a new musical pathway. He formed the cult duo Minilogue with Marcus Henriksson, releasing two albums on Cocoon ("Animals" in 2008 and "Blomma" in 2013) plus music on Crosstown Rebels, Traum Schallplatten and Wagon Repair. In 2014 the duo took a break and Sebastian invested in solo work, releasing on R&S sub-label Apollo, Drumcode, Hypercolour and Minus. He founded Circle Of Live, an improvised live collective, and has collaborated with the Tonhalle Orchester Zürich in a neo-classical performance combining electronic and orchestral instrumentation. His signature meditative productions range from hypnotic techno to modern classical, trance, ambient and downtempo. He is based in Malmö, Sweden.
