Nils Noa is the artist name of Nils Olav Lausund, born 12 May 1980 in Ålesund, Norway. He is a musical chameleon who can adapt to sounds, genres and trends as both a musician and a selector. He was the first Norwegian asked to compile a BBC Radio One Essential Mix, at just 22 years old. He had his breakthrough in 2004 with the band Bermuda Triangle and their hit "Mooger Fooger," before starting a solo career in 2005. He co-founded Troll Records with Christian Sol, and has worked as a product manager and A&R at Sony Music focusing on electronic music. He produces using hardware including the Moog Minitaur and Roland 909. He has toured extensively across over 20 countries.
