Eris Drew is a DJ, producer and trans ecstatic from Chicago. She runs the T4T LUV NRG recording label with her partner Octo Octa from a log cabin in New Hampshire. A long-time resident at Chicago's Smart Bar and DJ for the Bunker NY, she started mixing records in 1994 at the age of 18. Her sound is rooted in rapturous house, breaks and transcendent rave. She has been a recording artist for Interdimensional Transmissions (Detroit) and Naive Records (Lisbon), and released a DJ-Kicks compilation on Studio !K7 in 2025. She gives talks around the world on the connections between dance music culture and ecstatic traditions, and is an advocate for trans/non-binary/queer people. Her concept of the "Motherbeat" frames rave as a powerful apparatus for personal and communal transformation.
