Dick Dennis aka Tod Louie is a DJ, club promoter, label manager and recording artist—a mainstay in Oslo’s nightlife, known both as a pillar of the Det Gode Selskab collective and a devoted agent of chaos in the city’s queer club underground since the start of Evrysome.

Where Tod Louie brings the steady hand, Dick Dennis brings the trouble.

Dick Dennis was allegedly found as a baby in a shuttered porno shop somewhere off the coast of Italy by a queer couple on an aimless road trip. Raised among vinyl crates in a New York studio loft, spoon-fed synth lines and disco strings before he could walk.

He’s Darth Vader to Tod Louie’s Luke Skywalker—drawn to the darker, stickier corners of the club floor. While Tod would never dare drop an Hi-NRG banger, Dick lives for it. Taboos? Never heard of them. He’s the flamboyant, reckless city kid. The bastard grandson of a poet-butcher, Dick Dennis was born at an imaginary orgy at Paradise Garage and spiritually fathered by Freddie Mercury, Patrick Cowley, and Frankie Knuckles.

His sound travels from Italia to New York to San Francisco. 80s NRG disco, italo and dark leather disco that reeks of perfumed freedom, motor oil, sex, and poppers. It’s sleazy, sweaty, and a little bit dangerous—exactly the way he likes it. With no brakes, no seatbelts, and zero apologies, Dick Dennis is on a never-ending joyride through queer pleasure zones, chasing euphoric highs and gutter lows in equal measure.

No seat belts allowed.
