Dense & Pika are a British electronic music duo consisting of Alex Jones (Hypercolour label co-founder) and Chris Spero (also known as Glimpse). The project launched in mid-2011 with a series of anonymous white label releases that quickly gained attention for their raw, hardware-driven techno sound. They have released on Adam Beyer's Drumcode, Scuba's Hotflush imprint, and their own Kneaded Pains label. Their remix of Paul Woolford's "Erotic Discourse" won DJ Mag's Best Remix award in 2014. They have played Berghain/Panorama Bar, Fabric, Trouw and festivals worldwide. Adam Beyer has said they have "such a unique take on the techno sound" and "push into that genius level that many producers never reach."
